Examine Our Hearts Holy Spirit

Deuteronomy 12:3 "And you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and burn their wooden images with fire; you shall cut down the carved images of their gods and destroy their names from that place."

Holy Spirit, break the mold of pride, that sin of pride first committed by Lucifer who was expelled from Your Presence and attempts to bait us to behave as he did. But we have our identity restored by Jesus, no longer under a curse but redeemed in Christ, and our identity, character and personality is coming into the full stature of Whom we are identified by, being our faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus. We are no longer condemned and made to feel full of guilt, but set free from the bondages of the sin of pride, by Holy Spirit Who guards and is the Keeper of our hearts.

When our spirit is willing, but our flesh and sinful nature in times of weakness, try to take a foothold, we are more than able to overcome by The Spirit of God.

Where do we go but directly to You Holy Spirit and bring our heartfelt repentance for that one battle that was lost. Thank You for rescuing us out from that stuck place, that miry clay, that rock bottom situation.

We repent of having allowed the spirit of pride and its cohorts into our lives as Adam did, causing division, separation, arrogance, elitism and self-idolatry, giving way to stand-off attitudes towards others and disunity in Your House.

Forgive us for being the initiators of this 'quiet' destroyer that whispers into our ears, itches our ears, feeds our prideful behaviours and keep us chained in its vicious intimidating cycles of dominance and control.

Forgive us for not truly understanding and grasping Your Word on loving and honouring others the way You love and honour us.

Holy Spirit by Your Power and Fire, destroy those altars of idolatry filled with the poisons of Satan's stench of pride, break it's unholy pillars, remove the monuments and carved trinkets, ornaments and images, its demonic root systems and its demonic operating systems, from me and my bloodline living today, and purify us by the Blood of Jesus.

Bring us back to restored identity in Christ, His Character, His humility, His honouring behaviour as He showed to us in His time on earth, and His beautiful Mind, renewing our minds to the Mind of Christ. Set us back on track in our God-designed destiny and redeemed timing that was put out of sync, now restored to the Kairos time-lines of God, obedient to every Word that comes from the mouth of our Heavenly Father.
