"a wedding feast"
The Lord is calling us to celebrate, to have a holy convocation to honour Him and all He has done, all He does and all He will do. For He is the same yesterday, today and His Covenant is forever. We ask the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts and bring repentance and forgiveness to the Table of Celebration for this is the anointing that breaks every yoke of bondage.
Sound the trumpets, bring the instruments of praise, set the table for the Lord desires to sup with us in full view of the enemy, a public display of the Love of God. Bring out the first fruits of our abundance, and adore Him with all He lavishes us with in the first place.
We have so much to be joyous about, above the noise, the rhetoric and man’s forecasts of doom and gloom.
We have received a priceless pearl in our midst, who tabernacles in us, as imperfect as we are but made perfect in Him.
We celebrate not as the world does for what we do will seem foolish to them, but we who know Whom we know, we know the Love.
We are the one new man in Christ, grafted into a Chosen people, the apple of God’s eye.
Feasts of the Lord, not religious, but feasts, a gathering to worship our God and give Him our thanksgiving and all our praise.
Leviticus 23 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.
The Feast of Trumpets
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.’ ”
