For Where Jesus Takes Us, We Are Willing to Serve

Luke 22:24-30

The Disciples Argue About Greatness

“Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.

“But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Heavenly Father cleanse us by the Blood of Jesus as we as an Ecclesia repent of any ‘planks’ in our own eyes, of our own ideas of grandeur, self-importance, snobbery, arrogance, superiority, self-righteousness and pride. We renounce these things that are imposters that pose as stumbling blocks to all You have called us into, which is a profoundly deep and rich inheritance.

As we take our place to sup with You on Your Table Lord Jesus, by the Holy Spirit fill us afresh with Your Fire to ignite our humility, our obedience, our zeal, our every need to function in this hour, according to Your Will and purpose.

For we are no longer ignorant to the things that are Divine and eternal. What friendship have we with the world and its ways, none.

Sanctify, purify and refine us to operate powerfully and effectually, for all that is on the Hill of the Lord, for that which You created us for. In Jesus we release this spoken prayer and decree it, for we have seen well for You to perform it this day and every day, for the rest of our days forevermore.
