God's Written Word and the Stand-off Against All Evil

Thank You Father in all things. We know what is ahead of us that is in the world, but we are not of it. We shall not be caught up in its bending of truth, its falling away from Grace and its striving and need to depend on intellect and self-performance to find happiness and satisfaction. We know where our peace comes from. We know Jesus, as the Holy Spirit reveals more of His traits, attributes, character, and personality. But to have this peace is a daily denial to self, to choose to do life, by way of Jesus. When we are challenged and confronted with hardships, as unpleasant as they are, we can cry out 'Abba, Father". If all the days of our lives was like a bed of roses, we would be lost in it and our Father seems light-years away from us because we have it so good, we forget to pray, to worship, to thank, to talk, to be hungry after Him, we see no need for Him. Yet when we are in those stormy seasons, we run to the first Person Who can shift things and make the difference.

In every storm there is the centre of it and for us who believe, that is our blessed assurance, our hope, our trust in God Who is the only One that can change the status quo and deliver the kind of peace that is uplifting and edifying. That kind of peace in believing He will work through all the bad, to turn it all around to work in our favour. We have the Holy Spirit to thank for it. We keep our eyes fixed on the One and only One Person because He asked us to, in every manner of struggle or trouble.

Stay that focus, stay that belief, by Grace we stay that heart of ours on what is the Heart of God. No manner of divergence, come what may, can harm or direct us away from the Source of truth, the kind of truth that is in God's Written Word and make our stand-off against all evil. In Jesus we profess this is our lot, our inheritance, our faith, our victory.
