Me and My House We Serve the Lord

Interesting times we are in for sure, and praise God we are with Him and He with us.

We are a few who will not allow lawlessness to gain a foothold, nor permit our love for God to grow cold.

We shall not be swayed by every wind of doctrine, but rather hold fast to the Word of God our rock, and we cling to Him like a limpet that clings even tighter to its rock when sensing danger.

We can smell the aroma of God around us and know He will never abandon us. We are counted among those who walk and talk with God in the cool of the afternoon.

When people dread the sound of doom and gloom, we sound the clarion call of God and it is music 🎶 to our ears.

For those who fear and tremble, we stand apart from them and show our faith and the fruits of our faith.

When men revile and persecute us, we give back love and forgiveness for what reward is there to love those who love us, for that is easy to do.

When people cower and run from pestilence, we are the peculiar ones who pronounce ‘God with us.’

When the giants arrive at our city gates, we confront them with our sling and stone, for God can be relied upon to hit the mark.

When media spew forth lies and false information we runneth over it, and pour out the Truth.

We are the counter balance to evil to outweigh and out-measure it with righteousness. The scales to evil tip and topple, the side of God to prevail, for evil cannot counter or measure up to what is God’s, for what madness it would be to even contemplate to go against God!

Yes ‘tis true, as for me and my house, we serve the Lord.

Matthew 24
