Father, there is much in this world that is strange to me, and stranger it is meant to become. Those days of Noah seem to be here.
But I have You and You are my sufficiency. When men revile and hate me, when they persecute and mock me because of my faith, it is this very thing, faith, that will see me through the highs and lows of life, the good the bad and the ugly times, the storms and the calm.
I thank You for those moments of testing, for out of it You are building me up, to learn how to trust You through my faith, to get to know You in the experience, for if it were smooth sailing all the time, then when will I cry out to You and see where my faith really is, and keep seeing you in my rescue, my protection, my provision and the strong tower that can only be in You.
You strengthen my character and perseverance for the days ahead.
Who else could I possibly run to or trust, not one, no one, but You Father.
