Take heed and take heart

Father in the face of all that is happening around us, we are at the cusp of what it looks like when a treasure You gave us such as our freedom is about to be tested, how much it means to us, and how far we are willing to fight for it when confronted by lawlessness in high places and unrighteous bills made law in the land.

But you asked us to "Take heart" and this we do to release trust, to hold faith, to stay Your Word, to use the authority You gave us in Jesus, to change the 'status quo' and speak and command principalities and powers to stand down before the Lord's representatives on earth. For we are not of the world, but of God. We are the first and last bastion of our faith because of Jesus Who is the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and the Finisher, the One who died and is Resurrected, the Overcomer of Life over death, Freedom over sin. We are whom Jesus says we are and do as Jesus says to do.

Let us not lose sight or hope for the future for these are the very thoughts of God in Jeremiah 29 and when all is said and all is done ... we stand because we have legs to stand on because of faith, because of the Word Who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Our days are filled with a joyful expectation, apart from the thinking of man and man-made escapism and vain imaginings. We are a peculiar people set aside for the outworking of God's Kingdom. We come from all spheres of skills, society, walks of life, cultures and traditions, but we have only ONE Master and one goal, where all the Glory and all the Praise belongs to God.

John 16:33 We take heed and we take heart, we take the Word of the Lord to the Letter of His Word, for He is not a man that He would like, but rather all His Promises are 'yes' and 'amen'.
