Take Heed, Be Ready!

Matthew 24 The Truth be Told, Jesus Said: BE READY!

- lawlessness will abound

- the love of many will grow cold

- Take heed that no one deceives you

- many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’

- nation will rise against nation,

- these are the beginning of sorrows

- signs like wars, famines, earthquakes,

- they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you

- you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake

- many will be offended, will betray one another,

- many will hate one another

- false prophets, and widespread persecution.

- many false prophets will rise up and deceive many

- he who endures to the end shall be saved

- this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world

- the gospel bears witness to all the nations

- then the end will come

- He warned against believing claims of His presence

- no one knows the exact day or hour of His return,

- which is known only to God the Father.

- Jesus stressed the importance of enduring to the end,

- the necessity of spreading the Gospel to all nations, and

- the need for readiness,

- His return likened to lightning flashing across the sky.

Isaiah 5:20

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;

Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
