The Lord is in the Field, The Trumpet Sounds. Are We Ready?

1 Corinthians 3:9 "For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building."

Mark 2:27-28 "And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.  Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

Praise God for the sound of the trumpets in His Word.

  • The Shofar, a curved animal horn, and the Chatsotserah, a long straight metal trumpet distinct from the shofar.

  • The shofar sounds for joyful occasions, such as the Feast of Trumpets signalling the beginning of a new year 5786, as we close one door, the new one opens.

  • The shofar sounds for the assembling of God's people, coming together for Him.

  • The shofar sounds as a warning to be battle ready for warfare in the spiritual and its manifestations in the natural. Be sober of mind, for the Lord God of Hosts leads the charge for battle.

  • The shofar sound reminds us to be diligent and ready, have our lamps filled and wicks trimmed.

We have no need to be anxious or wanting of anything, for the Lord is in the field, walks among us and tabernacles in us.
