The Spirit of the Lord is Upon Us

2 Timothy 1:6-7 (NKJV)

“Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Thank You Father that the Spirit of The Lord is upon us, anointed us, in stirring up Your Gift in us, to boldly activate the Scripture through the authority of Jesus in us in the laying of Your hand.

You have sent us out to enter the field of Your harvest. We are humble before You, laying down ourselves to take up Jesus in all You have vested in us to do. We rise up in obedience to Your Sovereignty, and depend on You to reveal to us in practical application, all You have instructed us to do for You, for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory.

We make plans to engage in the Kingdom business of God, but reliant on You to sound the call and reveal to us the order for our steps, the manoeuvres from the war room of God, dressed in the full armour of God, sent out in Your perfect timing, decreeing it released in Your Name, the Name above all other names, Jesus.

Isaiah 61

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all who mourn,

To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
