Where there was coal the Lord sees a diamond, a tall cedar in a seedling, beauty for ashes, hope instead of no hope, love in place of brokenness, mercy instead of condemnation, an embrace instead of scorn, acceptance over rejection, goodness over evil, a garment of praise for the rags, richness replaces poverty, sonship over the orphan spirit, truth overcoming lies, faith over doubt and fear. Our identity is in Christ Jesus and endless are His affirmations, a kindred spirit over the outcast, the original and source that speaks much more and better than any counterfeit.
How precious are we to the Lord Who created all things, who created us and pursues the workmanship of His Hand. We mean more to Him than gold or silver, so valuable He sent His Son after us. I marvel at this kind of Love and hope to understand and be grateful for the depth, the breadth and length that is too great to measure. Praise the Lord and Bless His Holy Name.
Psalm 103
15 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, 18 To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
