Who Am I in Christ, What Does That Mean?

Heavenly Father we repent for corrupting Your Scripture and pursuing false man made rituals and doctrines of demons, for idolising things and people, worshipping false gods, pursuing the ways of the world that are opposed to You, rebelling against the truth and lusting the things of the flesh.

It halts today with the evidence of my repentance and forgiveness and placing my trust in You to transform me by way of the Holy Spirit. Restore my hope, reform my behaviour patterns, change me from the inside out, remove the carnal mind and rewire my thinking to the neural pathways originally designed for me by You. Heal all parts of my broken heart shattered by rejection and resentment from self and others. Remove those daggers and do spiritual surgery in there. Not just a band-aid fix, but a revived heart that beats again to the life giving rythmn of the Heartbeat of God.

I am looking with joyful expectation of what this new me is becoming like in Christ Who is my identity, my light, my life, my lamp, my flicker of hope, my surrenderedness in faith, my never-failing trust in the Yes and Amen of my life, no need to look further than Jesus Himself.
